This morning we carved our pumpkin for Halloween. The children got to smell the pumpkin and then get a handful of pumpkin to help clean it out. (We actually just had each child take 1 handful of pumpkin). We voted on which shapes they wanted for the pumpkin's eyes, nose and mouth. We made the face with a Sharpie Marker. Then we wrote the student's describing words of how the inside of the pumpkin felt on the back of the pumpkin! These pictures are priceless. The children's faces are adorable as they are feeling the pumpkin. I have included some sequences of a few students that warmed my heart! I didn't even see some of their expressions until I uploaded my pictures!
